**For membership purposes, "immediate family member" is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. This definition also includes "step" and adoptive relationships.

***For membership purposes, "household" is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. In other words, cohabitants.

 You are eligible to become a member if you live, work, worship, attend school or own a business in Oakland County, or the Ypsilanti Michigan community*, or an affiliate of Eastern Michigan University.  In addition, a potential member can come into our field of membership by having an Immediate Family Member** or Household Member*** that is currently a member.
